Usually I don't even waste my time on reviewing anything. But today I witness something I haven't seen in a very long time. Exceptional customer service, the cashier Cheyenne (hope I spelled it right) was amazing. She took my order in a timely polite manner and was even taking phone orders. She just went above and beyond for me today and it's just a food order. It's hard to find good employees, especially nice ones. Having someone like that is always good for business. The food was good as well. Would very much recommend.

Always looking for local gems when traveling, Johnny's is one of them. Huge menu with a wide variety of options. We ordered greek salads with gyro meat and a couple gyros. Both were excellent, even toddler approved. Staff was friendly and helpful in helping us decide. Friday is also free cookie day. Easy to locate from the interstate

I have been here a few times. Huge menu. Good customer service. I usually get the falafel pita. If you eat it plain, it needs something. Salt or something. They usually serve with a tzatsiki Sauce and that usually makes it better. But besides that, everything else is pretty good.

decent for something different. There was a miscommunication with my order and did not give me the onion rings that I ordered. Not a big deal I just ordered them afterwards the reason I mention it is the manager took it upon herself to tell me it was my mistake I didn't get the onion rings. Again not a big deal but why bring it up? I did not blame anybody for the issue and just ordered more onion rings. They did reach out to me after they read this review so I appreciated that so four stars across the board and would recommend going here.

Always like to check out the "local flavor" when traveling and Johnny's caught our eye. Walked in on a rainy, November day so we didn't sit in the nice looking patio. However, the restaurant is large enough to fit a large crowd. It was pretty quiet when we were there. We had to read the extensive menu board and the host stood at the ready by the register. Once we decided he took and placed our order quickly and efficiently. Meal came hot and stuffed with meat. I got the gyro sandwich while hubby got the big Daddy (double cheeseburger with gyro meat). Both were very delicious! The gyro sandwich could have had a bit fewer onions for my taste but that's easy enough to fix. The meat is tender and juicy. Reasonably priced for the portion size. Our two sandwiches and two sodas came to $18 (no fries). When in Joliet be sure to check out Johnny's! Oh and be sure to get your free cookie from Yelp. I didn't try the cookie so can't comment on that but hey it's free.
