The garden house is a lovely setting for a wedding reception. The buffet offered delicious food choices. Planning the event was a breeze. We received excellent advice. The expense was a great value. I recommend Silvercreek for any intimate family gathering, reception, memorial, award ceremony, etc. We have great memories of a wedding celebration.

When I made the reservation, I was asked if we were celebrating an occasion, to which I answered my husband and I were going to be celebrating our anniversary. When we came in, we were seated in a private corner and the staff had added table cloths and a taper candle to our table. With the atmosphere set, we were off to having one of the most enjoyable meals we've had in the area. The service was excellent - not too intrusive, and we never lacked for beverages (I believe our server was Jennifer). Our questions about the menu were answered quickly and accurately. The food was really top notch. We started with the truffle fries, my husband had the 6 oz fillet (which was cooked perfectly rare) and I had the lobster mac and cheese which was seriously tasty. For dessert I had the chocolate cake and my husband had the berries and cream. From start to finish, this place was worth every penny!

One of the top tier restaurants in the C/U area. An old wood and brick building restored with several notable antique features in the main dining area. They also offer a private dining area called the Green House. Steaks and Seafood are core menu items, also an extensive wine list.

A little gem hidden in Urbana. It was recommended by my boyfriend's co-worker when we were looking for places to celebrate an anniversary. I instantly liked this place when I looked at their website. The greenhouse is probably the best place to dine. We have gone there several times, the last time was for New Year's. Their food is always amazing. Super fresh, well-made. Great options also. Excellent staff. We were a bit worried because we we probably the youngest people there. But we felt completely comfortable and the staff treated us just as they did anyone else.
