I always get the ribs but the last couple times got 1/2 slab of ribs with fish. That's what you want to order. The Pollock fish is great. Great bar maids too. Tell them Bill sent you & maybe they will give me a discount sometime?

Best ribs in NW Indiana. My wife and I ate at Wagner's this afternoon and I must admit that it was almost 20 years since our last visit. The dining area has been added on to and there must have been 50 or so people eating. The ribs and ribeye steaks are as good as ever. If you want some really yummy food stop off at Wagner's ....on Wagner Road off of U.S. 20 highway in Porter Indiana....you will not be disappointed!

Food is pretty good, but I was pretty surprised that a rib joint charges you for extra BBQ sauce (without telling you at the time), especially because they’re not liberal with it on the ribs. Also, the coleslaw was not fresh, and the Mac and cheese entree does not come with two sides, like the menu shows. That was an awkward moment with the waitress. Staff isn’t super friendly, but it’s a popular place with decent food. Expect to spend about $30 each. Entrees are about $20, pop is $2.75, and anything extra costs extra. The back patio is amazing in the summer.

My favorite BBQ joint in Northwest Indiana. Staff is friendly and restaurants very cozy. Obviously the ribs and brisket are amazing but the burgers are pretty dang good too. Last time I had the perch and it was made perfect. Great restaraunt, all the need to be perfect is some sweet tea.

Not kid friendly, just a psa. The food here is amazing. Having lived in the south for some time, I've missed good BBQ. This place has it 100% It's a nice friendly atmosphere and the service was wonderful.
