Gail is my favorite server there, she's spunky and sweet. She pays attention to detail and always makes sure we have everything we need. They are hopefully getting new cooks, but it was closed for a few weeks, reopening soon (fingers crossed)!

Just recently moved to Chesterton and this is the first diner my family and I have ate at. I can say that I left as a happy customer. Staff was extremely friendly, food came out fast, your cup was always full with whatever beverage you selected, and the food was delicious. All menu items are reasonable priced as well. Definitely recommend going to this place, I know I will be back.

Had tomato basil soup today & Grilled Cheese. The soup tastes like tomato sauce according to guests at the next table. They suggested, do not order it. Grilled 3 cheese was on texas toast. The cheese was lost in all that bread. Portion size seems to have decreased and prices seem to have increased. The other day we were there and ordered 3 ~16 oz cups of chicken noodle soup to go $18.00 WOW it is an extremely good soup, but not at that price. That covers the cost of the whole pot. Owner eavesdropped on my conversation today and said: "not to spread rumors" about changes in ownership. 😡 Needless to say, I will limit my visits, for about 30 days. Also not handicap accessible. 👎

I have been coming here since they changed hands. The owner is friendly and courteous. The staff are friendly, fun, and fast. I get breakfast here often.

Relaxed interior, nice diner feeling. Waiting Staff was friendly, good service. Bacon was way burnt, spicy skillet used too much jarred salsa for my liking. Greater detail can be paid to cooking for improvement.
