There is no questioning why Rip's Family BBQ was chosen as the top barbecue restaurant in Indiana. Bringing Memphis Style Barbecue from the Mid-South to Connersville, Indiana, Rip's Family BBQ is the place to get your next barbecue from. I ordered, "The Beale Street", with Memphis Sauce and a side of Rip's Baked Beans. Staying true to it's roots, The Beale Street pork carried a great wood smoked flavor. Not like the liquid smoke flavor you get at most places. Being smoked slow, and not overcooked with high heat, the pork had the right amount of retained moisture one should expect. The Memphis Sauce was the perfect match for this sandwich with its historical sweet flavor. The Beale Street is then topped with fresh made coleslaw that brings it all together as a traditional Memphis Style Barbecue. Rip's Baked Beans were, (don't tell my GrandMother), the best baked beans I've ever had. I had to ask Tom what made his beans this amazing. Turns out it's a secret, but one that's definitely worth figuring out for yourself. This lunch was so good, I ended up eating 2 of The Beale Streets on my own. Great friendly staff, and fast service. So if you're looking for a quick lunch, dinner to take home, or wanting to cater for a group, large or small, Rip's Family BBQ will have you going "Hog Wild" for their Barbecue !!

OMG, the best pulled pork I've ever had. My husband had the half rack of ribs dinner. Food was plentiful and delicious.

Great food and pretty good service. The brisket was good but it's the baked beans and potatoes that are really the winner here. Those dudes are absolutely amazing!
