We were there on a Saturday evening at 6pm. We had six adults and a reservation. My husband and I were the first couple to arrive they had us sitting in the diner area right behind the hostess stand which (was a well light area and the main aisle that leads straight to the kitchen so we would have all the servers walking past our table constantly) so I asked if we could be seated in the main dining room where it has dim lights and a wonderful ambiance. The host was reluctant and very physically and verbally perturbed but he did allow us to be moved. The other two couples arrived a few minutes after we were finally seated. We then waited for approximately 15 minutes to be served water and our ordered drinks which consisted of 3 glasses of the same wine and tea. Mind you the restaurant was pretty dead, I believe there was 7 other tables of customers in the entire restaurant. After we received our drinks we placed our dinner orders. It then took 1hour and 20 minutes to receive our food.... Again the restaurant wasn't busy! The entire time we waited for our food our server never came back to our table to refill drinks or see if we needed anything. Once we were served our food it was way way under our expectations! Especially after waiting so long. My husbands steak was over cooked, the other person in our partys steak was cold.... Cold! The chicken Marsala was very interesting I've never thought about making soup adding mashed potatoes to it and then adding a piece of chicken on top of that! I wouldn't advise it.. It was not good! The next time we saw our waitress was when she cleared our plates. We were there for a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes and our waitress came to our table 3 times! We couldn't even get another glass of wine or some more water. Our bills were all $70 - $80 each!!! We all loved the restaurants ambience and wished our experience would have been better.

Nice place to hangout. You can enjoy live band music with your drinks. The staff is really good and would take care of you well. I would love to visit this place again.

On a completely dead Monday night, they stil managed to make me wait at least 30 minutes before taking my order. I even left, walked to Bridges and came back after finding out they were closed on mondays. And still no one had been to my table outside. After waiting even longer for food, I went in and asked for my food and brought it out myself, same with the appetizer and the bill. 🙄

We were passing through on our way from Shades State Park to Spencer; we remembered hearing about this place at the Fantastic Food Fest in Indianapolis, so we decided to give it a try. The food is awesome! I had the Henrietta grilled chicken panini with bacon jam and smoked gouda cheese, and it was absolutely delicious. The fried catfish sandwich was tasty too. The rosemary fries are really good. Service was really friendly too. It was awesome to have such a nice place in Greencastle. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!
