First, the seating is comfortable, though older. The interior has an old-fashioned "homey" feel, which I enjoy. The walls have paintings and decorated mirrors, which give added flair. Next, I love the mural on the wall, which I used a Panorama shot for you to see. I could look at serene paintings like that all day. Next, the food was good. I ordered a Reuben sandwich, which came with crisp, golden-brown, thick-cut potato fries. The Reuben also came with a small cup of coleslaw, which wasn't overpowering. The Reuben also came with a dill pickle slice, which I enjoyed, though the brand wasn't quite what I'm accustomed to. It was good, but I'm used to the "Mt. Olive" brand's flavor, and this was different. The Reuben sandwich itself was quite good. The bread had been lightly toasted, so it was crisp, but not hard as a rock. The meat was good, also, and the sauerkraut made a good combination of flavors. I've had Reuben sandwiches that were much worse. This was good!

Hessville Restaurant has excellent breakfast specials (I love the sausage patties). Their chili is excellent, & I especially enjoy the AYCE ocean perch every Friday for $7.50!! You can get fresh rainbow trout every day for about $6 or so. They have steak dinner specials for very inexpensive prices! You cannot beat their prices! The advertisement here says the restaurant is open 24 hours per day, & that is no longer true. They open very early in the morning, but are often closed after dinner by 8 PM.

I've been going to the Hessville restaurant for many years at times are very busy however, your server will get to you as soon as possible the service is great my only issue is many things there cause stomach problems with me not everything just a few. It's been there for years and the reason is is the food is good it's reasonable and the service is excellent. Give it a try I promise her something on the menu that you'll enjoy.

I've been coming here for years now and I still appreciate the family atmosphere. The menu is cheap and the food is quality. It's local and it's convenient.

They are extremely rude. I called to place a order for pick up and immediately was told hold on. Someone put the phone down and then hung up. I called right back and was hung up on. After calling a 3rd time I asked why did they hang up on me twice and was told oh sorry we're very busy you have to wait 45 mins for your order. Yea I won't be ordering from here. Never had the food before but that made me go elsewhere immediately
