Don’t know who’s giving this place five stars! We were there for almost 2 hrs it took ten minutes just to get drunk orders in then another 20 to actually order anything. We didn’t get our order placed until after the appetizer came out which was not served correctly. I took 25-30 min to get another beer which cost $6 for a domestic pint(crazy enough) and it was halfway cold. Then when food came out 2 people at our table one being the 7” pizza my daughter order (because they have no kids menu)took an extra 20 min. It was so bad it was laughable. I have no idea how this place stays in business. And to top it all off it might have been one of the worst philly cheese steaks I have ever ate. Warmed up burnt prime rib are you serious? If I could give it negative stars I would. Don’t waste your time or money

We were a party of 6.. Everyone was very pleased with their food and pleasant service. Food was hot, accurate, reasonably priced and very good. Relaxed dining and a laid back atmosphere.

If you have not been to Jimmy O's you must go. The food is great. I've been to thousands of restaurants and I can say that their food is some of the best Monticello or Lafayette has to offer. Great steaks, the pizzas are the bomb, huge menu!! They also have live entertainment every Saturday from 8 to 11. It's not too loud and the bands that play there make it fun playing 50s,60s,70s,80s to some current rock and Country. Make a date and go some Saturday night is all I say.

Great prime rib FRI/ SAT! Melts in your mouth. Pizza (with carry out) is very good, nice sandwich plates. Friendly staff but due to being one of the few north Lake Shafer restaurants, service slows during peak. It's a bar with separate dining room. Again, real good food but you don't go for the ambiance or a lake view. Eats & drinks, live music on summer weekends.
