Our server was amazing! This was my first time eating there and I was extremely happy with it! The owner is a red wine connoisseur I was told and it's safe to say that my red wine last night was amazing! Absolutely a lovely place to eat. The food was very good and the atmosphere was really warm and inviting for an upscale restaurant. I definitely recommend eating here.

This is a nice place to stop for a bite, and the food is slightly above average. But the food is a bit overpriced for the quality, not appropriately portioned for the cost (small)) and service was uneven-taking longer at some points to get refills and requests. The interior is nicely done, and they seem to have a good bar service. The owner replied to this post, but did not address the slow service or the fact that smaller portions do not necessarily equate to higher quality. I did appreciate local sourcing, a well developed taste profile, and an attractive presentation. But it does not logically follow that higher quality is related to smaller portions. Or follow up on high quality, with an inattentive service staff. The intent of a review is to give you insight in your services, which I generally do in hopes that on my next visit it will be improved. I guess that is not always true.

This place was amazing! Deliciously different. We had brussels sprouts appetizer, the salmon, and the vegan risotto. Thank goodness for a jalapeno sauce with some actual kick! Even the bread was tasty but unusual. So, so delicious. Just found the restaurant randomly on this our first visit to Dubuque.
