One of the best steak houses in Iowa (if not in the country) that won't cost an arm and a leg to visit. Great hi end cocktails and wine available also reasonably priced. The bar is nice but could use a little better personnel management.

Awesome steaks... one of the best I've been to and prices are very reasonable and great portions. Had the ribeye and I haven't had many better... Great atmosphere, nostalgic... highly recommend Archie's...

Love the steaks! The only thing that would make it better is if there was a salad bar. The "appetizers" that come with your meal leaves alot to be desired.

The staff is always great and the food is beyond amazing every time! I wish I could eat here every day! The best place ever

Pray that there's a long wait so you can relax in the bar before going in and have some drinks and an order of fantastic onion rings! The unrefined 70's era decor adds to the allure of Archies. Embrace the sign in sheet, your name being called over the intercom, and the wood paneling! These places just don't exist anywhere anymore. Absolutely the best piece of beef outside of my back yard. Traveled all over this country, been to many steakhouses, and almost always leave disappointed with what I spent, compared to what I ate. I've resolved to just not ordering steaks at most places and getting a piece of fish. Never at Archies, steak every single time. Had the prime strip last weekend and it nearly blew my mind. - fair prices, excellent service, and world class cuts of beef.
