Stayed a week in Junction City, and a lady at the hotel suggested Stacy's the first morning we were there. We didn't eat breakfast anywhere else all week. Good, home-style comfort food that will make you miss country life! Honestly haven't had a breakfast that filling and wholesome since I was a kid on the farm! Reasonably priced, and just a homey feel to the place that makes a stranger feel welcomed.

Their food is always amazing. It never takes long to get food, even when they are packed. I have eaten here plenty of times and they are very consistent with service, quality of the food, taste, timeliness, and cleabliness. Highly recommend. A fun bit of lore, Vin Diesel allegedly once ate there, as his car broke down and he was getting it fixed nearby. While he was waiting he apparently ate a burger there and may have mentioned it was one of the best he had eaten.

Reflecting back on our cross-country trip last summer, a handful of places made me hope to get back to someday. By chance we ended up for breakfast at Stacy's because it was near the motel we stayed for the night. The diner was busy and as soon as we step in the door seated customers called out to seat ourselves anywhere. Although Stacy's is right off I-70, this is clearly a place for local regulars; a few travelers, like us were mixed in for good measure. We were attended to in the same friendly manner as the locals, whom all seemed to be known by name. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast. Although we likely eat rather differently than most eastern Kansas folks, and probably think divergently politically, Stacy's is a place, like when in Rome, you do as the Romans; we ate the standard fare of eggs, and bacon, hash browns, and pancakes at reasonable prices. I seem to recall biscuits and gravy and a wonderful cinnamon roll we took along for the road. We noticed a lot of people must call in orders as well, because several came in for breakfasts all bagged up. If more people in the country were to come together at a place like Stacy's we would probably be feeling better about each other, even though we might not vote alike. If you want to feel welcomed in the heartland and partake of the standard fare at a reasonable price, stop in at Stacy's....and seat yourself wherever you like.

I’ve been here several times, and I have friends who really like this place. Personally, the food was underwhelming. Biscuits and gravy tasted like straight from a can. Very bland food. Use the pepper generously.

Not my favorite. Old fashioned diner. Good service. Average food. Very dated building and interior. My husband loves it.
