I am an admitted BBQ snob and had lunch here with some co-workers who said it was good. Man where they wrong! Walking in there was no smoke smell which instantly made me think I was in for a bad meal and as expected, both meats on the combo I ordered (Brisket & Pulled Pork) had zero smoke flavor and could have been cooked in a crock pot for all I know. The Brisket crumbled apart from over cooking and lacked flavor and the pulled pork lacked flavor but was tender. Any good BBQ doesn't need sauce but I SAUCED the meats today with their Hot sauce which actually wasn't bad but sad it took dousing it in it to be able to "enjoy" my lunch. The baked beans were decent and the fries were good but overall a very poor attempt at BBQ.

Went in a Sunday couldn't smell any smoke going on you would expect to. Food wasn't bad wasn't great either. Pulled pork was better than brisket. Brisket had zero smoke ring or bark. Sides where good and so was service, only reason for three stars. The meat needed sauce to eat it.

Staxx is extremely popular, and for good reason. The food, service, and ambience are all fantastic! Dining room is a much better experience than drive-thru, in my opinion.

This is my favorite restaurant in town. All of the meat is wonderful, and the spicy sauce is my favorite. I also love the blues music that's always playing. Sets a great atmosphere.

Food was awesome! Service was great. When we asked for suggestions the ladies at the counter gave their honest opinions and they did not steer us wrong. The smoked wings were amazing! Turkey sliders, ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, sweet potato fries, all excellent. Definitely recommend.
