Great service. Good food. I just wish they had regular grits. Only cheese grits available. Superb pancakes, waffles and most everything else. Service can't be beat. As a point of reference; I eat out almost every meal. Been here a dozen+ times. Never disappointed. For a laid back country kind of place, the prices are a bit on the higher side.

Jose's is a wonderful place for breakfast, lunch or dinner but we go for breakfast more often than the other meals. For breakfast we recommend the pancake with a big dollop of whipped cream and syrup. Their sausage links are outstanding as is their country ham, very tender and tasty. For lunch we recommend their salad with 1/2 sandwich. For dinner try the Kentucky hot brown. It is a traditional Kentucky dish but once you have tried it we feel it would become your favorite as it is ours.

Not gonna lie! This place was awesome. Good service but the food was great! G-Town Special. Cheese grit casserole was great and the gravy is really good. I don’t normally care for breakfast gravy but this was well done.

Terrible service, for us. Got seated and waited 10-15 minutes without service. Watched other table get seated and they got served immediately! Menu reflected high pricing as well. Will not return and will NOT recommend to anyone! When it was Sams it was MUCH better service and prices are Sky high now.

Love the gluten free pancakes! Didn't even realize they had another location in Chevy Chase area. Easy access to/from I-75. A favorite when we are in the area.
