A co-worker and I stopped in on our way to take her to the Cincinnati Airport the food was fast though our states were not cooked correctly they were quick to fix the situation and the staff was very friendly. A big thing with me in a restaurant is making sure that my drink never goes empty and the server stayed on top of our drinks. If you're in the area and looking the fast friendly service this is a great place to stop.

Came in about a week ago. Servers were friendly, food was delicious. Our big issue is that (who we think) was the store manager was being rather inappropriate. Cursing under his breath, sulking around and making it very apparent that he doesn't like Waffle House and openly checking out some of the female servers. He was a big tall guy in a manager uniform, didn't get his name. Wish we could have. When he WAS helping on the grill, at one point he got frustrated with the sudden amount of omelette orders. He may have been having a bad day but my family and I were traveling and were very tired. Did not need to hear any of that. Will not be coming back.

Waffle House is a well established chain of roadside diners usually located near a high traffic highway interchange. When traveling, I often stop at a Waffle House, and I've eaten at a good many of them. This review pertains to the Waffle House in LaGrange, Kentucky. I almost always stop here at night when they're the only place open, and never in the daytime. They're open 24 hours. This place is a typical example of an all-night roadside diner. The menu and atmosphere require no further explanation. If you like this kind of place, you'll probably like this one. It's not a fancy place. The people who work here are ordinary folks and the people who eat here are ordinary folks. If you expect something else, you may be disappointed. The food is usually good and the service is usually prompt, friendly and efficient. But not always, it depends on who is working and how busy they are. If it's late at night and they've been really busy things may appear to be in disarray. It's just that kind of place. They did earn an "A" sanitation rating with a score of 95%. Seating is primarily In booths or on stools at the counter. One section of the counter is at table height and has chairs, making it wheelchair accessible. This isn't a place to bring a large group, the seating arrangement is not very flexible and the facility is not large. It's also not a good idea to bring a laptop computer and sit for hours. No one would object if they're not busy, but seating is limited. Carry-out service is available. Phone may not be answered when they're really busy. No online orders taken. The parking lot is marginally adequate and free. Ingress and egress a little inconvenient but not too difficult. Cash, credit and debit cards are accepted. The facility appears to be wheelchair accessible, but just barely. If this review is helpful, please mark the "thumbs up" icon here.

Ate at 2 different Waffle Houses while on a trip to Toledo in Ohio. At the first 1 food delicious and staff called out a warm welcome upon entering the door. The 2nd Waffle House was quite different. Waitress was precious. I am being honest so perhaps at some time in the future, I MIGHT venture into another. The omelette I ordered was swimming in some greasy substance. I asked and was told it's probably oil. I did ask why so much different this omelette was to the other Waffle House food. Was told each cook has their own way of doing things. This omelette was so greasy that I put 2 napkins under it and those napkins were so super saturated the oil still ran onto the plate. I can't find my receipt just now but I think it was in Lagrange, Ohio as I was returning to my home here in Tn. It will be a loooog time before I eat at another Waffle House, though MOST are really good. Just can't face another omelette. Since I can only post for 1, sadly the rating is 3...because of the really nice waitress...not the cook's food.

Such friendly, welcoming staff of ladies. Fast, fresh coffee and food. Yummy pecan waffle and bacon. Offered (and gratefully accepted) to-go cup for our coffee at end of our meal.
