I've never had bad food here. It's always been good and service is usually good. But this time around the waitress we had only brought drinks once and never came back. She just stood talking to every customer she knew. We usually have the short skinny waitress, she always checks on us multi times. This older waitress did not do that, we didn't even leave a tip because of it. If anyone from the watermill reads this, please make sure to tell your waitresses to keep check on their customers... Otherwise food is always good. That baked chicken and roast, potatoes n carrots...yummy.

Not overly impressed but decent. Very friendly staff and okay food but kind of dumpy in appearance. Needs to be renovated badly. I liked their banana pudding a lot. I don't smoke but to get my food at the buffet/serving line I had to smell stinky cigars and cigarette smoke. Why not put the smoking area back away from the serving line, restrooms, exit and cashiers (places where everyone has to go to utilize the business)? There is a very large area where non-smokers can eat that would be a more appropriate area for smokers because it is in a isolated area of the restaurant.

This place has a diner-style atmosphere. There was a buffet available for $8 a plate. The menu had a good array of American food choices. Our sandwiches, fries and onion rings were all excellent. I'm holding back a star because I LOVE curly fries, but these weren't strongly seasoned and were barely fried. VERY reasonably priced. My family of three ate for twenty bucks!

I made my first visit to Watermill Restaurant last night for dinner. I had seen this restaurant before on a visit to Dinosaur World but we did not stop at that time. The furnishings are simple and dated. That said, even late at night on a Thursday, they were doing a brisk business. My son brings his children down this way for various activities and said sometimes the lines are outside the doors waiting to get in for a meal. The food was exceptional for a small buffet. The fried catfish was very good. Salads were fresh. Many choices of just home cooked foods including peach cobbler and banana pudding to just name a few. The meal was reasonable. The staff was helpful and kept our drinks full. The kids ate free.

Nice place to stop if you are traveling. We had a great waitress, Wanda. The prices are great. Has a great antique shop right next door to look around in. The only thing I didn't like is that the smoking section is right as soon as you walk in and it kinda takes your breath away. But once you get to the back you can't really smell it.
