Stopped in for lunch special: meatloaf. You seat yourself. Waitress was a little slow getting to me but once she took my order, she had my order at the table before I returned from the nice and fresh salad bar. The meatloaf was very good, the mashed potatoes and brown gravy and fried okra were really good. All served with rolls and butter from a friendly waitress with a smile. Had water and coffee which was good as well. I needed the coffee. Lol. All for around $10.00. Good food, excellent salad bar and great coffee.****** Stopped in again and the service was poor, the steak overcooked DONE, when ordered medium. The hostess/waitress needs to at least get a beverage order in progress when seating the customer. A). Teach your waitresses how to do the job properly. B). Teach them that when they cough to cover their mouth! No one wants phlegm coming out of someones mouth and landing on the table! C). Don't charge $16.00 for an overcooked bland steak. After reading all the fantastic qualifications about the folks who run it, it's time someone pays attention to whats going on.

Great, fresh salad Bar! Good fried catfish. Tried fried chicken livers twice, both times way over fried, almost burnt. Great veggies.

My wife and I tried this place while driving through Kentucky for breakfast. I had an omelet which was above average and she had French toast which she enjoyed. The hashbrown casserole was delicious. We would definitely stop in again.

Used to really enjoy this place. Drive from bowling green to eat there. Got steak for the first time and my food came out wrong, sent it back and waited about 30 mins finially came back and it was wrong again. I just kept it this time I felt sorry for my waitress so I didn't say anything. Really disappointed in my experience this time. Hope next time is as good as it had been before.
