We stopped at the Krystal's Restaurant just off I-75 in Williamsburg Kentucky. It took several minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we were there. They had decent deals with a 5 for $5 mix and match with any basic sandwich fries or drink. The food was okay, it was not hot, but it tasted decent. We got double cheeseburgers, the bacon cheeseburger (which barely had any bacon at all and did not taste good), the (cold) spicy chicken sandwich was not spicy at all, and also ordered basic single burgers with no onions which were fine. My dogs really liked those. The fries were cold, I could not even eat half of them so my dog's got those too. We are not accustomed to eating at Krystal's because where we live we have white castles and I expected steamed buns but all of our buns were dry & room temp. All in all it was a good meal for the pups, and food in the belly for the people. It was dinner time on a Friday evening, but was pretty much dead inside with only one customer there when we arrived and one other customer arriving when we were leaving. I can see why they're not a popular restaurant in the area.

Slow service, even when you're the only person there. Great food tho.

SO VERY SAD!!! Here at 10:45pm with closing time at 12am there were no lights on outside and we had to go to the door and check to see if they were open. I ask for the manager and a girl with messed up hair and a big oversized hoodie and jogging pants standing there said she was the manager. No offense but she looked like she had just climbed out of bed. I ask about the lights and the cashier said they were not working. (The "manager" was standing there as the cashier lied to us.) Everything we ask for they said they didn't have it up and it would be 10 to 15 minutes because everything was made to order. They stood there and looked at us and said they had already started breaking down. I ordered a iced coffee and it is terrible. I ask for chili they said they didn't have it. The coke was out on the machine. The place was clean but It's easy to keep a place clean with no business. I have a degree in culinary and have worked in this industry for 30 years with customer service like this I predict this Krystals will be out of buisness soon unless significant changes are made. It's very sad that the employees hate to work bad enough that they try to run off customers. I ask the "manager" if all the lights on the outside were out and she said she guessed first shift forgot to turn them on. Lol We did get food in about 20 minutes short of our fries. The food was as expected ... order # 1318511 12/19/2017 reg 3 total 26.95 😕☹😞 (never bothered to turn the lights on and we are leaving at 11:28pm)
