The food is good. Prices are reasonable. However, if you order food to go, know that this restaurant without disclosure adds a 'to-go' charge for their containers and a 'to-go' gratuity of an additional 5% on top. I always tip on take-out and understand an establishment charging a "to-go" charge but their practice of adding a gratuity on top of a container charge, no matter how small the amount, does not seem ethical, especially without disclosing it anywhere at their establishment or online.

Food is ok and the service is not very good. When we came in and said we wanted hibachi we were seated at the grill without being asked if we wanted a table instead. We were seated next to a larger group than ours and waitress that was serving us basically ignored our smaller group but was very attentive to the larger group.

Best Hibachi I've ever had. We stopped by at 9 o'clock on a Thursday night on our way to the beach with our three year old and 9 month old in tow. It wasn't very busy but still busier than most places at 9pm. We decided to do Hibachi, while my three year old wanted chicken nuggets, which were promptly brought out, within 10 minutes of us arriving. Everything, from the salad, to the soup, then to the chicken and filet hibachi, was fabulous. The rice was perfect and the noodles I ordered were different than most, more of a ramen style noodle, but excellent in taste. The service was beyond amazing, our drinks were never empty, and the waitress was kind to both of my girls. We will definitely be back to Kirin!
