I have never experienced this level of personal attention ever. The fish and lobster melted in my mouth, the gumbo amazing and the key lime pie made the drive from Utah worth it. My wife and my daughter were overcome by the hospitality and the personal care that was shown to us. I'll write this experience in my journal so I never forget it. Thank you!

Waiter was deceptive. Indicated snapper came with a side and gumbo. Side was $12. and gumbo was another $10. Added $22. to an already expensive meal. Unnecessary. Be careful. Not good business. Food was okay but not above average which is what I expect for this priced meal.

Careful. Waiter hides menu from new guests because each plate cost 40 dollars minimum. They'll try to get you to order without seeing the menu. The wait time for food is also ridiculous. They charge fine dining prices for poor service. Food is average and decor is below average. The host, man in charge of seating people was extremely rude. I asked him if he could take care of our bill because our waiter was busy. He gave me an attitude. Said something like, "I'm Mike, who do I look like to you?". A simple no would have been fine with me. I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing from a fine dining establishment. Just go to Copeland's if you want Cajun food and a nice atmosphere.

The food here is amazing! The marinated crab claws are my favorite! Ernest is very family orientated and treats his guests like family. I loved my experience and it’s what keeps me going back!

We had reservations and were seated promptly. We did not see our server for at least 15 minutes. She took our drink orders but we were not given a menu. The drinks arrived about 15 minutes later but still no menus. Server asked if we were ready to order and I told her we still hadn’t seen the menu. Meanwhile a couple came in and sat at the table next to us. They received menus and bread without even having to ask. Our waitress apologized every time she came to our table. Her attentiveness was severely lacking for the price we were paying. We got our bread after our meal was served. The food itself was very good. We told the maitre D that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Because our server was so elusive, the whole experience took way longer than it should have. We got our bill- 4 people $231 and the service sucked. The staff had brought out birthday cake for other tables celebrating and sang but our server never even acknowledged our celebration. I will never go to this over priced over rated restaurant again. Good food at those high prices must include highly trained attentive staff. Don’t waste your money here. I could have made a car payment for the amount I dropped at this place. 😡
