Have eaten there several times the past 10 days. I had no idea they had the selection they do. Food has been excellent and all the staff have been great. Really glad we stopped. Found a great new place to eat in Hammond.

Excellent service in a retro-style drive-in diner with superb milkshakes — get the strawberry and enjoy actual bits of fruit in it and not just flavored syrup. We tried the plateful of chili cheese fries, the roast beef poboy, and the sweet potato fries. Everything was hot and tasty. In addition to diner classics, they have seafood and other Louisiana specialties. We'll definitely be back. There's an intriguing bread pudding on the menu, but we were too stuffed to try it!

My experience at Lee's was nothing but great! This was my first time going to Lee's, but I was with some people who had been there many times before. In fact it was almost the only place they would go because everything on the menu is good and reasonably priced. I had the fried catfish smothered in crawfish etouffee and let me tell you (being as I am professionally trained in Cajun cooking) I was extremely satisfied with how it was prepared! As a matter of fact everything that was brought to our table ( of 8 people)looked delicious. This is not a fine dining restaurant. But for a "50s diner" it was well above expectations. I will be back to Lee's diner!

I have been there three times and have yet to be disappointed. After a short wait for a table, the nostalgia of the 50's decor takes over. The staff are efficient and friendly. The food has always been above expectations and the price reasonable. A pleasant step back in time.
