We have been coming to Geno's for 51 years. Our first date together was at Geno's and we celebrate every Anniversary there. The food is always the best and it is such a cozy spot. We make it there several times a year. Thanks Geno's for making our times there so special!

When i lived in Monroe, Geno's was ALWAYS my go-to for a first date. The ambience, the low lighting, the food- it all works so well. Dining al fresca is magical here when the weather cooperates too. Geno's is the perfect execution of what a restaurant should be from top to bottom.

Geno's has amazing food and our waitress was Knowledgeable about the history of Gino's. My family and I will surely be back. It's like having a little Pace of Italy right here in Monroe Louisiana.

This place is cozy and romantic. The food is good although I wish the portions were a little bigger for the price. It was delicious and an overall good dining experience.

I wanted to like this place but was sorely disappointed. My wife and I went here for our five year anniversary and though we enjoyed the ambiance of this quaint little restaurant, the building itself is quite run down. I got lost looking for the bathroom and ended up in a back room and then out in the alley and had to walk around the block to get back in, what I saw of the condition of the building was not good. I ordered the veal parmesan which was like chewing on rubber, the salad was horrible, I think the best part of that was the olive. The service was decent enough, our waitress did alright keeping up with our table despite the layout of the restaurant, which is an old converted house. The background music was endless Frank Sinatra, which was fine at first until the same songs kept playing over and over during a stay that was just under an hour.
