Overpriced for brunch. The Knife and Fork sandwich was a dry hamburger with a fried egg on top for 14.99 and the Shrimp and Grits for 15.99 had too much pepper and under cooked shrimp. The bloody Mary was good and only $4. The Screwdriver was also $4 and tasted like they used fresh squeezed OJ. Service was fine. Not overly friendly but everyone was nice.

Last visit was not pleasant. Made reservation for Valentine's Day like we did last year. We arrived and were promptly put into a side room they had just opened up. Like being seated in a closet. Our orders were sent to the wrong table. Totally disorganized. Disappointed with the special that was ordered. Visit has changed my view of Portobello's.

Enjoyed eggplant appetizer, husband ordered chicken parmigiana, which he enjoyed. One of few restaurants open on Sunday. Sunday I had full order if friend eggplant with crawfish sauce, fresh spinach on pasta. Service was exceptional, everyone so friendly.

Very disappointing. Food was ice cold when it finally got to our table an hour later...& we were seated first right when they opened. listen, if you a server and carrying food on trays don’t hold the tray so high that your hair is in my food. Or put a hair net on. And make sure your servers are dressed right so they not walking around steady digging their hands in their ass pulling up they underwear. Oh and if ya oven is broke (which my food was supposed to be fried) get it fixed before you open your restaurant. Hire 2 expediters so the food doesn’t have to sit..

Used to be mediocre, but now the food is excellent. Chicken, crab cakes, broccoli, and corn cakes are delicious. Good wine selection also. For this town you will be impressed.
