The food was fresh and tasty, not too heavy but still satisfying. The waitresses and hostess were exceptional. Service was respectful, quick and attentive. We were driving through as we do 5-6 times every year and always try to find good places to stop that are clean and a break from a long road trip. We've added this to our list and have recommended to a few of our family that also travel through.

Good food!! A little pricey, but was worth it! The server was super nice and the margarita was awesome!

Went here for my birthday dinner and was a little disappointed. The hostesses were very sweet and nice. The seafood gumbo was overpriced for the portion and was not tasty. Their boudin balls and sweet potato fries were great, though. I ordered a cocktail and did not ever receive one. When asked about it at the end of the meal, the waiter just shrugged and did not bring it out. He didn't apologize or offer to bring it out, either.

I go to Portico every Wednesday for burger night. Im usually seated at the bar for quick access, but last night I took my mother for her birthday and we had the sweetest server! We were well taken care of throughout our visit, as we typically are. The food was delicious! The drinks here are also tasty. I highly suggest their Sangrias, which I usually come back on Thursdays for! Anytime I’ve had an issue here, things have been corrected in the most appropriate manner. One if my favorite spots in good ol’ Ruston!

I have been to Portico once before and i wasn't impressed, the manager asked for my reasons, i started i left hungry which is a no no for me. He directed me to the pasta bowl combo, i had left overs. Five stars for great managers.
