Atmosphere was good. Girl taking our order was monotone and staring out the window when taking our order. Jambalaya was great. Gumbo was some of the worst I have ever had. Very light stock, lots of chicken fat and sausage was not browned......nasty. If you like a dark roux do not get it. Boudin balls were not balls.... they were tater tot shaped and over cooked from frozen. Potato salad was bland, not much seasoning. White beans were good.

As a professional truck driver, it's a pleasant surprise when we you a good place to eat. I parked at the Pilot in Denham Springs, La. Walked towards the Pro Bass Shop and found this cafe. It was definitely worth the walk. I had the crawfish fettuccine. It was delicious! The sauce was just right, not to spicy. I highly recommend this place.

Easily accessible in Shopping Center, adjacent to Bass Pro Shop, next to Interstate. Menu features limited Louisiana cooking. Reasonable prices, very casual, with LSU decor. Dine in it take out. Kid friendly. Helpful staff.

We were on a road trip from Florida to Texas and back. We saw a big billboard for this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. It was extremely yummy and we were glad we stopped! I don't normally take pics of my food but it was THAT good.

Unbelievable seafood gumbo and jumbali. The shrimp taste like they are locally caught and cooked perfectly. Still juicy tender and full of flavor.
