I normally really enjoy this restaurant, however today my party of 3 were sat in the literal back of the restaurant where we sat for over 10 minutes with no one, wait staff, manager or otherwise to inquire if we needed anything or were ready to order. I asked to speak to the manager. His very causal and nonshalant posture over this issue was not pleasing in the least, to include him having his hands in his pockets. I don’t expect him to make it instantly better, however, the overall impression was that this was not a real concern for him. This Cheddar’s wasn’t even busy today....

As soon as we got in we noticed the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. We had to change sections because of a table of roudy girls but the staff didn't mind helping with that at all. I ordered a drink to start. It was the pain killer. Oh man. Could go on and on about this drink. But I'm going to limit my self to saying it was so good I got another. I ordered a the Monte Cristo and my Hubby ordered the Chicken fried steak with fries and broccoli and cheese casserole. The white gravy had a bit more black pepper than he liked but I loved it. The service was great too. Overall I would give this place an 8 out 10. The price for the two meals and two drinks and a soda was 37.00. That's not bad at all. We were going to try to do our best blue steal impression's but I was giggling to hard. If you don't know the blue steal look was from a movie.

Only giving a star because I love the buffalo chicken wrap. Service was terrible! The bar area was pretty much the employee lounge with half the tables covered with leftover food and take out food cups from Canes. One of the servers sat next to me at the bar and proceeded to socialize with another co-worker counting tips. Two more came to sit at the bar next to my husband and socialized as if they were patrons, which they were not. The manager came to the bar to cash in a worker and did not even mention a word of how disgusting and unprofessional it was. This was on 2/24 in the afternoon, that Manager needs some training on how to run a restaurant. It’s a shame because the Cheddars in Beaumont was 1000% better, this one is destroying their name! Hopefully corporate sees this before it’s too late and makes the necessary changes.

Went to Cheddar's for a quick bite with family and couldn't get greeted! So we sat in the bar and waited. Still no acknowledgement. Two staff members saw us and said nothing. I went back to the hostess stand and grabbed menus for our table, Sat for about 10 minutes and still no acknowledgement. We decided not to spend any more time at this establishment. It's so so sad, because we love to eat at Cheddar's. I guess not in West Monroe. They really need to get it together.

Never eating here again. Ate here with a friend for her birthday. Service was bad. Fries was cold. Food took too long to come. I asked for my steak to be medium but it ended up being well. I didn’t feel like returning it because the food already took too long. Fountain drinks didn’t taste really good
