When I first started looking into Tesoro, I read that the service was not great but that the pizza was phenomenal. While I can agree that the service was not what a lifetime of traditional restaurants had led me to expect, it was perfect for somebody who prefers to receive his food and be left alone. The rolls which were served before the meal were delicious and the pizza left nothing to be desired. My friend, who got a pasta dish, also left without complaint. All in all, an experience that deserves repeating!

First 4 items we asked for weren't available. They had just sold "the last salad" to the gentleman in the booth behind us. He was the ONLY other patron in the restaurant.

The service was rude, and the shrimp scampi had no seasoning or sauce. Tasted like a microwave dinner. Complete waste of time and money.

If you like New York thin crust style pizza, I highly recommend you try their pizza! Freakin' yum!!!

The only good Italian food in Bangor, and the best pizza by a long shot. This is the only place to get good new york pie north of Connecticut. The pasta is amazing to boot, and the owners are very nice.
