I have been going to Darby's for over 20 years. The food is always very good. The menu is varied. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and service is great. We recommend Darby's to people new to the area, the locals know it's great.

Clam chowder was excellent! Had amazing flavor! Service was great! Very nice and intimate place for 3 on a Saturday! Wish egg rolls we're in 4s had 2 big ones. They were excellent but would have liked 4 small ones.

We went on a Friday night, and they were playing live Irish music. Nice and loud in the bar area, but just in the background if you were seated in the dining area. The service was good. My husband had the special. A 12 ounce steak with gorgonzola and bacon with mashed potatoes and parmesan and coleslaw. The steak came out without the toppings, and when the hubby realized it, the waitress fixed it right away. I had a Bailey's Creme Brulee, which was amazing.

Very private feel with a great easygoing atmosphere. This restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember and I've grown up and Belfast or the surrounding areas. I really like that it hasn't changed very much and also the fact that they haven't changed very much is a positive thing, for sure.
