My family loves this restaurant! The menu has a wide variety of flavors and an excellent vegan selection. The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet, the staff is friendly and service is prompt. Always a great meal whether it is for lunch or dinner.

This is an Ellsworth gem. My family loves the Masaman Curry in particular. Nice ambiance and good service.

I don't understand all the poor reviews. We've had Thai food in a number of different places in Maine and different states and, though maybe not the the very best, it's very good and much better than the Bankok and much more flavorful. I especially like the duck and lamb and my wife the drunken noodles. It's not the fanciest decor, but it's never been unclean like some reviews have stated and the service has always been good and correct. The only thing that I might agree with some of the negative reviews about is that it's a little pricey, but well worth the price for the fairly rare times we go out to spend a fair amount for dinner.

The words "They're cooking our garbage" have never been more true than at this septic tank called a restaurant. The overwhelmed and overworked hostess/waitress/bartender/busboy/..... Can't take a drink order never mind your food order. You want chicken and you'll get tofu. You like brown rice with your entree you may have to remind her that's an option. Okay I understand that you are a family business, but the rest of the family need to do more than just count money, burn food and serve the wrong things. As far as the food is concerned: No flavor except dirty dishwater and soot. Everything on the menu is the same color of unflushed toilet water brown. I have had Thai food at many places and this is clearly the worst. It's like being in a foreign country when the only things safe to consume are sealed and come from somewhere else. If you need proof just look at the pictures that are posted (I thought maybe my screen had mud on it).

Before you eat here I would ask to see the kitchen. One they are two owners who can't keep an employee because they are thieving rude and down right awful people. Who might i add re plate your food. If you walk in and get offered a job no your not lucky no you will not make money no you don't have charm you will be expected to use your psychic powers and know what it is they want and if not God help you. The cook is not as much of a piece of work as she is but don't be fooled they are not decent people. But honestly before you eat there ask to look in the KITCHEN
