Great views, helpful staff . The restaurant is comfortable. The food is okay but should be better for the prices. The mussels were lacking a flavorful broth. They used bottled garlic, a bit of chopped tomato with a chicken broth. No parsley or fresh basil. The baked haddock didn't have much fish. The fish tasted fine but could have had more of it. The gnocchi were doughy. Maybe stick with appetizers.

Great view and good service. The owner is almost always there and is very friendly.. The food is tasty but there are no truly healthy options. There are no organic options. I would be thrilled if there were even one dish that was free of pesticides, non GMO, no unnatural additives, meat that came only from happy and completely naturally raised animals, and ideally no gluten, dairy, or sugar.

The food is incredible! I started my first experience at Archer's On the Pier with the lobster stew. It was buttery, creamy and the chunks of lobster meat was sweet and delicious. The fish tacos where seasoned wonderfully--a bit of a kick and then the fresh, crunchy, sweet homemade coleslaw underneath just brought it home. The tacos maintained their wonderful texture throughout the entire meal. The best fish tacos I have had on the East coast. And then I had to top it off with a slice of chocolate cream pie that was delightful! I sat at the bar as I was dining solo, and the bar was well equipped to handle any drink a person would want. I enjoyed the Allagash white that was on tap. I dined here on Easter and the wait staff was prompt, friendly and warming. Thank you.

Dinner was AMAZING! We had an over the top seafood pasta dish, the lazy lobster, and a haddock platter. Generous portions perfectly prepared. 4 stars because atmosphere was a little louder than we prefer and appetizers (coconut shrimp and fried calamari) were ok, but not up to the level of the meal.

I'm commenting on several lunches in the past few months. View, atmosphere and service are wonderful. We have been pleased with most of the food. Our favorite meal was the seafood enchiladas on the summer menu. We have had several nice fried haddock meals. The shrimp scampi needed more flavor and I would like the sauce slightly thickened. The Thai shrimp with rice two weeks ago was a small portion and the Thai sauce too sweet. Crab cake on the haddock one day not crabby enough. But we will return!
