Really friendly staff. The escargot may very well have been the best that I ever had. Just the right amount of garlic and butter. The escargot melted in my mouth. Clean excellent flavor. I had a very tough time choosing which entree to have. No fewer than five viable options: two from the special menu and three from the regular menu. Great wine and beer pairing options. Nice wine list. I guess I’ll be back to try more entrees!

Yet another great meal at one of the best restaurants in the area. Just when I think I have eaten lobster every way possible, I discover the lobster cutlet! What a delicious entree! The sauce was spot on to accompany the crispy coating on the pounded lobster tail. The service is always too notch, the ambiance very upscale rustic Maine, and the Moscow mules refreshing. I tried the creme brulee for dessert and it was as good as anything I could make at home (I do consider myself a bit of an expert making this particular dish! ) with our fresh eggs from from our backyard chickens. 18 Below is other for that special occasion...or really any time you want a five star meal served elegantly and made from fresh local ingredients.

Always delicious! We tend to save 18 Below for special occasions, but it's always wonderful. Great service.

Atmosphere (except bar) could be done better. Prices on the high side for what you get. Servers could be more knowledgeable and attentive.
