What a terrible experience. Everything here is over priced for what it is. After listening to them brag about how everything is made from scratch, I ordered an appetizer of poutine. It is possible they made the fries, but they weren't fresh maybe they were left over from yesterday. If they made the gravy, they are masters of making it taste exactly like canned gravy. The cheese curds were not curds but rather some cheese crumbles. It tasted like it was microwaved and then briefly tossed in a broiler. If was a soggy gross mess. My better half had the crab dip in a bread bowl. You know how bread gets when it has been microwaved? Yeah... Go anywhere other than here.

I've never had a bad experience here. The food is locally sourced and seasonal, creative, and delish! Earthy and warm ambiance in the dining space that is softly lit by the bar on one side. Wines and beer, are par for the course with fun micro brews, and a standard wine list. Wait staff are attentive but not hovering. Window booths can be cooler in the winter, but the dining area, in general, is a little warm. Dates for live music are typically posted near the kitchen. A great spot.

For the past few years my mom and I searched Westbrook and a lot of Portland hunting down the best-tasting burger. Frog & Turtle burgers are not the biggest or the cheapest (thankfully), but wow are they awesome. Definitely in our top 3 list of burgers throughout Westbrook-Portland with Nosh and Red Robin.

Loved the atmosphere, the service and the food. Spectacular dessert. So sorry that I had to leave before music started. Will definitely be back.

Amazing breakfast food. I've never been for dinner but, if their dinner food is just as good as their breakfast food, this is without a doubt one of the top places to eat in Maine. Their homemade donuts are to die for, and their savory brunch dishes are memorable. I typically sit at the bar with my boyfriend and have never had to wait; bartenders are super nice and friendly. Highly recommend!
