My friends and I had dinner here recently and it was very good. Several of us had sushi, which was excellent. Several others ordered the pork chops, chicken fried rice and a veggie dish. Everyone enjoyed their food and our server was very helpful and in fact, gave us individual checks - which was greatly appreciated. I definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is wonderful!!! Adequate portion sizes and services. The price is fair as well. Only con they charge two dollars of you ask for additional sauce. I get it but it seemed like they didnt put enough on the plate.

Ordered sushi one early Sat afternoon and the seafood was tough and tasteless, just not fresh overall. My date ordered the fried pineapple rice dish. Had hair in it. Different length & texture from ours. Definitely overpriced for that quality. But I guess you're paying for ambience and the fact there's nothing much else in the area? Sad because I thought I found a nice & super close asian bistro.

I had a great time here but my date not so much. We arrived late and there was only a few people at the restaurant as it was very close to closing time. I ordered the calamari and she ordered a tea. When she got the green tea it smelled like a rusty pot and it tasted metallic, nothing like classic green tea. My calamari was excellent. We then ordered our entree. She got a sushi bowl salad type thing with some sushi rolls and I got general tap chicken with Jasmine rice. Well again my meal, excellent but gets not so much. One bite into the bowl and she found a nice long thick juicy hair, very healthy, good texture and black. She was obviously disgusted. She asked for a remake but for whatever reason they couldn't make get another one (I'm guessing because it was closing time). So she ate her 4 shrimp rolls and I ordered her calamari appetizer since she had some of mines and enjoyed it, plus she was still hungry. She really did not enjoy the experience but my experience was decent. The atmosphere on the place was great. It was in a great location.

My Bridge Club went to lunch before our weekly game and really enjoyed the ambiance, variety of food choices, and excellent service of Ichiban. It was indeed, Number One!!

Bowie has very few restaurants that are not franchises. This Asian bistro is one of the few options available for decent Asian food and sushi. The food has fresh ingredients and the service is good.
