For the flower and jazz festival. Which is promoted for mothers day. I go every year. This year I had to work. I'm a pediatric nurse and went into overtime. I got there at 4pm. There were more left but the 4 people working outside cleaning up refused my service. They told me to go inside. I went inside, and the woman at the front said no. They are not serving anymore. I can get full price for my son and I at $28. I told her the servers outside said there were more. She said no. And told me to leave. I worked longer than a 12 hour shift. Haven't seen my son all day. All I wanted was 2 crab cake sandwiches. No sides. No vegs. Its Mothers Day. I never felt more ashamed that I had to go home to my son.I had to apologize to my son when I got home, with nothing in hand.

One of the "classic" places to go in Westminster. This place has been around forever. And for a reason. The food is excellent (the chili is outstanding and the seafood is always exceptional). The restaurant has a classy ambiance. The outside room overlooking the train tracks has a very nice view of downtown. The bar is classic. Sports on the TV, cold beer on draft. What's not to like. Still one of the go to places in Westminster.

The brunch was great, the service was responsive. There was a mountain of steamed shrimp plus oysters on the half shell, roast beef and many different deserts. The restaurant is nice, decorated in an Irish style, the fan over the bar area is very unique. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

We tried the Sunday brunch buffet. They were very busy, so our experience was less than stellar. We were seated at a dirty table, then left for quite a long time before a server came for our beverage order and to give us instructions. I have dietary restrictions and was disappointed to find no gluten free options amongst the baked goodies. And almost every savory dish contained cheese and/or butter. There was very little I could eat, but my meal was just as costly as everyone else's. The food I was able to eat was fresh and delicious and the atmosphere there is very pleasant.

The service and food is amazing. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. I highly recommend eating here.
