If you want World Class then you have come to the right place. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and they treated us like royalty. To knowing our names, along with the added attention and detail, it was a night we will never forget. Highly recommend if you want to treat yourself and your significant other to a wonderful time.

An excellent and surprisingly affordable (compared to its peers) fine dining experience. The views of Boston Harbor and the airplanes taking off and landing at Logan are a lovely bonus. While they take their wines extremely seriously (the wine list has many bottles priced in the hundreds and even thousands of dollars), you can get a very enjoyable three-glass flight to go with your meal for about $25. Service is on par with the best fine dining available in Boston. Plating is amazingly playful, with (spoiler alert) dry ice coming with the scallops and the mushroom dish served on a beautiful wooden platter. All told, you can get out of there for $80 per person with wine, so quite reasonable for what you're getting. Highly recommended!

This has been the BEST restaurant experience of my life as of yet. From the moment we walked in, my husband and I felt like royalty. We were asked if we'd like our coats taken to the cloak room. Then, after we'd been seated, the host inquired if we needed any accommodations in regards to the menu, to which I answered that I had a nickel allergy. After being briefed on the foods I can't consume, and being informed that I could not touch metal, the host left to inform the wait staff and chef. The waiter brought out a delicious mousse with pomegranate jam in a porcelain vessel, instead of the customary metal one, and explained this was in respect to my nickel allergy. The host, after doing some scouting in the hotel which has this restaurant inside, returned with fancy cloth gloves for me to wear so as not to touch the metal sliverware. I was pleasantly surprised, because most restaurants either offer plasticware or a napkin to wrap around the silverware. I never received gloves. On top of all the precautions taken in regards to my allergy,  the chef came out to verify exactly what ingredients he had to avoid in order to modify my dish for my needs. I was beyond impressed already, but when the food came out...wow. The presentation was creative and artistic, a summer themed meal in a box of fresh, growing grass. The meal- rabbit done 3 ways- was an art all its own. The flavors left nothing to be desired. The rabbit was soft, tender, moist...simply scrumptious. And the Arnold Palmer in the center was a fine finish to complete the surreal picnic experience. All throughout the experience we had courteous servers. We were given beautiful decadent chocolates in personal sizes boxes to take home as favors upon the retrieval of our coats. I highly recommend Meritage for anyone who doesn't mind spending the extra money for an elegant, romantic, all-around perfect experience. Meritage has redefined the meaning of Fine dining. From the service to the presentation to the taste of the food,  the quality of this restaurant is unparalleled. Your special occasion will be well spent here. Thank you again, Meritage staff! You have set a high standard! Bravo!
