I’ve lived in California for years after growing up on Wah Mei’s food. Nothing here has ever come close to their flavorful, dark-colored rice and the crunchy egg rolls. I would love to have the recipe. Best Cantonese Chinese Food in the world! I’m in there several times when I return for a visit.

Let me first say I’ve been coming here for over 10+ years USED TO be good and is NOT what the hype promises. I’m SHOCKED to see such good reviews but then again most reviews are the locals who don’t want to take the extra five minutes into the city . I have now ban them from my household due many reasons #1 what Chinese restaurant forgets fortune cookies my past 3 orders #2 charged for large spare ribs only to receive a DRY small #3 apparently their is no substitutions on any combo meal deal (recent change) #4 they’re cheaper and BETTER FOOD ELSE WHERE TRUST ME

I have been going to wah may’s For at least 8 years, I lived two houses over for most of my childhood but let me start by saying I am not happy with the way this place has become they have some girl working there that always looks like she’s high the crab Rangoon’s have completely changed and have more of the wrapper burnt so what little is inside taste like cream cheese only! The boneless spare ribs are horrible it has a texture of something I would take out a can for my dog they are always dry and covered in nasty grease not sauce! All in all I will no longer be going to this place which really saddens me but they do not deserve the time, day or money !!
