Fantastic food, including gluten free options, friendly service, cozy atmosphere and plenty of local neighborhood characters. Absolutely outstanding.

Very small, tight dining space but neat. Would not recomend a big party. The deserts are very good

Best eggplant parmesan on the planet. The chef is Mario Bocabella, formerly of Newton Highlands' Cantin Abruzzi, and the cafe is run by his daughter and son-in-law Anthony -- the congenial bartender. Every night has a new entree menu with multiple meat, fish, and vegetarian choices. A wide selection of salads, sandwiches, appetizers, wines, beers, and desserts is always available, as well as a kids menu, and - of course - eggplant parmesan. Reservations recommended Thursday - Saturday, closed Sundays. Plenty of parking in the city lot across the street.
