This place is superb in my opinion. As a former waiter & food and beverage manager they do everything perfectly! The menu is great the food is fantastic the salad bar, which is a rarity these days in most restaurants, is wonderful. You feel like you have at least three servers while eating dinner. They seem to anticipate your every need . It's my newest favorite restaurant!

My siblings and I just threw a surprise 80th birthday party for our mother at the Hardcover. It was superb!!! The event coordinator, Denice could not have been easier to work with. She was flexible and open to all of our suggestions and made everything perfect. Our servers Gary and Michele were wonderful. They tended to our every need. All 41 guests were blown away by the food and service. I would recommend this venue to anyone having a small private party.

This is an above average dining experience - probably one of the best in Essex County. Dinner assortments and quality are excellent. Outstanding salad bar accompanies every meal selection. You get a 50% discount on your entree, if you go on your birthday - they do check id cards. Prime rib and stuffed shrimp is my favorite.

Excellent steak and seafood as well as some hard to find menu items such as Beef Wellington (always prepared perfect). Great, fresh salad bar included with all meals. Consistent quality on all menu items. Never left disappointed after a meal. Some rooms have fireplaces. Wait staff and host/hostesses are very friendly and some have been here for many years. One my favorite restaurants, where I eat at least one a month.
