This is a classic diner with spunky older waitresses and delicious, classic American breakfast food. The portions are hearty, and they serve milkshakes! Get the flagpole sandwich-best hash I've ever had! Don't expect new American cuisine, the coffee is fine, and the service is a little slow. But it's a great spot if you can appreciate it as a classic breakfast spot.

Honestly probably one of the worst breakfast experiences I’ve had in Quincy. I called in a take out and they said it would be a half an hour. Not a problem, I figured it would be busy so I gave it an extra 15 minutes. When I go in, the lady at the front made eye contact and would speak at me. She just stared at the wall. After about a minute of this i say I’m here for take out. I get a very angry response of “well, when did you call it in?” I responded with a good 45 minutes ago. To which I get a “well, we have a lot of orders you know.” So I stand there and wait another 10 minutes and in the process they dropped my toast on the ground and then put it in the bag. But the final straw for me is when I finally brought it back to the house, the portion was children sized and the potatoes were undercooked. Truthfully I will never venture back and I plan on telling other people to stay away as well.

Food is usually good, but sometimes quality and presentation suffers when staffing is short. Prices are very good, they take credit cards, plenty of street parking. Service, with one long time staffer in mind, can be less than friendly.

Always had a pleasant experience the 5 or so times I have been here for breakfast. Generous portions, great prices, friendly staff, and a retro vibe that I appreciate.

It's a predictable place. Decent food. Good coffee. Reasonable prices. Clean enough. Not bad at all.
