Great place for banquets and other functions. Interesting environment with many parts of the mill of which the building once was as decor. A unique experience indeed.

We had reservations for 11 people on December 15th at 8pm. We ordered appetizers ahead so they would be ready when we got there. We had to wait 30 minutes after we arrived to get them. Then they told us we couldn't order dinner for an hour because they had a party of 75 and did not have enough staff to cover our dinner party. Finally we got our dinner about 10:30pm. We had to go to the bar and order our own drinks. We are very patient people and made the best of it but none of the staff even seemed to care that we hadn't been served or didn't have a waitress. Will not go back there again and will not recommend this place to anyone. You would think a manager would have come over to apologize but not one single person cared enough to say a word. Pretty sad.

Sorry to say but Maxine's has seen much better days. We had a memorial service brunch here and were informed that they had accidentally double booked the room. We were pressured to have our group exit the room while people in our group were still eating brunch. The brunch itself is nothing special and better options are available in the area.

Filled with over the hill lushes and sleazy guys hovering at the corners of the dance floor looking to hit on tipsy or drunk women. Feels like the 80's except everyone is 30 years older and 25 pounds fatter.

I just got back from Easter brunch that I reserved reservations at Via Maxwell Silverman's. I made these reservations over a month ago and they called me last week to confirm my reservation as well. As I pulled into Maxwell Silverman's I waited for the rest of my party to arrive then proceeded to see the sign outside of the door stating that Easter brunch is being held at Union station restaurant which I guess is a part of Maxwell Silvermans apparently. Mind you I have an 88 year old man with me at this time. No one in my party had any clue where this restaurant was nor did Maxwell Silverman's ever even mention or tell me the TWO times I spoke to them that Easter brunch was going to be held at this establishment instead. We proceeded to GPS it and get there parked on the third floor of a parking garage and had to walk down to find an elevator with an 88 year old man and about a dozen of adults. We finally figured out how to get inside as we approached to check in there was a line that we had to wait in to even be seated. Stood in line for about 15 minutes finally got up to the front and was told that we have to pay up front individually. Here comes the kicker they didn't even have change so we had to have exact change as well! Needless to say it was a nightmare totally chaotic not communicated well at all and we will never be returning there again for ANY function.
