Had a fabulous chicken piccata for lunch. Service and back room atmosphere great. Just glad it was lunch. Front end, at night, is a totally different story. Ordered some takeout (pizza – it was good), but it was a drunk and rowdy atmosphere, and the music was cranked up to “ear bleed”. This gave the restaurant a split personality which I didn’t feel comfortable with: Sauce is a restaurant that can’t make up its mind, whether it wants to be “class“ or “crass.“ so I’m sticking with lunch… A good experience.

This place is a joke. The owners are never there, and when they are there, all he wants to do is talk about himself and what HES been doing. What about how am I DOING? The bartender is really rude. She acts like she doesn’t want to be there and the only time she is attentive is if she’s trying to sell me another drink. I watched her serve a woman 5 glasses of wine in an hour. WHO DOES THAT?! wouldn’t you be more cautious of your clients and their safety of getting home, not the amount of money you may collect from them...... The food is nothing special. The marinara sauce is bland. The Alfredo sauce is like they made it earlier in the day and it just congealed all over my plate. It must sit there for hours.... definitely not made to order like every other Italian restaurant.....The desserts were just like any other cannoli and tiramisu. Definitely not homemade I can tell you that for a fact. The only nice thing about this place is their patio. And mainly because they are one of the FEW that has a place outside to sit the 2months out of the year its warm out. I would travel to Ann Arbor or Toledo for Italian food. Only eat here if you have nothing else to eat.

I had the veal parmesan and the portion of veal was small. There were three pieces and the one in the middle was gristle. Ugh. The sauce was delicious and desserts fabulous
