I've been really disappointed with Denny's' as I travel the country. This location has restored my faith. (It is independently owned, so there's that.) Walking in brought back so many memories from my childhood. That was a great start to a good experience. It was hard to tell if the "classic" feel was manufactured (the building was built 17 years ago, so yes) but it "felt good" being there. Some of these others have become so run down and unpleasant. And the food was phenomenal. And plentiful. It looked how it was supposed to, in my opinion. My last few Denny's experiences have been disappointing to the point of not wanting to return. To any Denny's. The portions at the other Denny's have become smaller over the years. A skillet meal practically hides under the eggs, and is mostly potatoes. This one was worth the shot and I'm glad I gave Denny's one more chance. I got Eggs Over My Hammy, (my go to) and it had a lot of eggs (what I first thought was to make up for the lately lack of ham) but I was delighted to see more than two slices of ham! The waitress (Nicky, I think) convinced one of my dining partners to take a gamble on an egg dish claiming that the cook, "Manuel" knows how to make eggs right. He sure did! My partner LOVED the egg dish. All the workers seemed happy and genuinely concerned with our service. Maggie, who seated us was the right amount of bubbly and adept. And (as an artist) I LOVED that one of the staff had decorated the whiteboards with drawings, something I have experience in and know how difficult it is. Overall, we would definitely go the extra couple miles to eat here over the others in the area.

Best Denny’s we have ever been to. The food was wonderful and the wait staff is excellent!! I am so glad we stumbled across this Denny’s taking our daughters to college.

Amazing retro-style Denny's! This is by far the best Denny's location I have ever been to. Best one between Battle Creek and Jackson, honestly. I used to hate Denny's before I visited here because of past experiences. The staff is always friendly and check up on you often. Food is great. Clean restaurant. And it's open 24 hours!

I love this diner! The service is always great, and I love the retro 50's look and feel. The food is excellent with very reasonable pricing.
