I came here for lunch with a couple co-workers. We are all from elsewhere. It was a little busy, but we were seated promptly. Service was friendly and attentive. We all agreed that we each had a fantastic lunch. I had the steak salad with green goddess dressing. It was perhaps the only salad I've had of which I wish I could have seconds. The steak was cooked (I requested rare) and seasoned perfectly. If I have the opportunity to come back through Battle Creek, I would make sure that I stop by Malia again.

Food IS 5 star. Price and lunch ending at 430 is the only reason for the slight demerit. Mushroom soup was fantastic. Lamb burger (lunch only) is my favorite menu item. While food is great, price is steep. Be prepared to easily spend $40-60 for 2 w/o alcohol.

Wonderful food and exceptional service. I had the beef that was fork tender. My guest had the sea bass and even sopping up the sauce with the freshly made French bread. Desserts were homemade and equally exceptional.

Very good food. Awesome customer service, the servers were really nice and helpful. We were worried on bringing out 3.5 year old but it was no trouble.
