I liked coming to this restaurant until today! When I gave the waitress Allison my credit card to pay for my family's dinner, I was charged $156.18 instead of the $61.48 because she mixed checks up with another customer. She didn't know how to correct it so, she charged me the $61.48 also. Now, I'm charged for both my check and the other customers check. The Manager, Graham, came out and said, You'll be charged for both checks until the other customers finish eating and drinking because he couldn't close the other customers check out. He didn't want to upset the other customer....go figure that. Screw me, protect the other customer. When I said to him, "I'm just screwed." He replied "Pretty much." He refused to void the other customer's check so that I could be credited and was unapologetic about it. My $61.48 meal is now $217.66. Unbelievable!!! This is not over. I will take legal action if this isn't resolved. This restaurant is in downtown Birmingham, Mi and they cater to the richer customers. Screw everyone else. I will not be back to spend my hard earned money! The waitress made a mistake however, The Manager's demeanor and lack of professionalism was inexcusable!!!

Absolutely wonderful service, Greg especially makes sure that you are welcome. He will greet you at your table and is very pleasant to talk to! Chicken parmesan & the fish chips are delicious. You can tell the meat and fish is very fresh. I have been driving by the Triple Nickel for a year now and am very pleased to have stopped in. i will definitely be back to treat my girlfriend on another date night!

This place has great food and atmosphere. Burger was a bit bland, but the shrimp Alfredo was great! They have a wide selection of beer and wine, and is in a great location. Lots to see in the area, perfect for walking off a meal. Parking is usually not too bad, but it is metered, so bring a couple quarters.

Triple Nickel was some great lunchtime dining. Clam chowder - this is a hard one for most restaurants to get right, yet it was totally delicious and the proper thickness. Tomato bisque - tasty with great aroma. Seared Atlantic salmon - it came with a spicy mango sauce, that did not overpower the salmon, very tasty. Asparagus was served on the side that was buttery and delicious, probably the best asparagus I've ever had. Barbecue ribs - if you like fall off the bone ribs these are it. Nice Smoky flavor, not too sweet. French fries - very crispy, perfectly done. Banana Foster - perfect. Homemade apple pie - tons of cinnamon, great crust, exactly how your grandmother would make it at home. The service was very attentive.
