This might not be the "finest" place to dine but it's nice comfort foods. I like being able to pick up soup on the go and they always have a variety. I'm now lactose intolerant since having kids (go figure??) But have fond memories of their ice cream sundaes. Their Big Boy burger is really good as well as their slim Jim sandwich. They have a nice assortment of food and are reasonably priced.

I went to have a late lunch here today (4/17/18) with my mom. I ordered the chicken strawberry blue cheese salad. While cutting up the chicken I found at least 5 rotted lettuce pieces. Told them to take it back and I ordered my old standby the Denver omelet. While waiting my mom had finished eatist bite of the omelet was horrible and I looked under the top egg layer and saw old brown looking slimy stuff. Yuck! Then I tried the hash browns. The tasted terrible, like bad or old grease. I smelled the hash browns and there was a terrible smell to them. The waitress called the manager over and she did apologized but made excuses. First the lettuce: she said, "it's a fresh bag so must have come that way from the company". Well still you should be checking it before you put it on the plate for a customer. As far as the hash browns she said she cooked those. I told her they were terrible, smell them, etc. Also that I have ordered them a lot and never had this problem. All she'd say is that she cooks all the time, excuse, excuse. Well I know that she doesn't clean her grill because the taste and smell was from old bad oil/grease. I will NEVER go back.

Nice locally owned restaurant. All the Big Boy classics, Friday night buffet and Sunday morning brunch. Right on the Cheboygan River so eat your brunch on the deck! Fast and friendly wait staff!

Cheboygan big boy I visited February 18 was the cleanest big boy I have ever eaten at. Very good and friendly waitress, the usual big boy food, even has nice seating to look at the river. 5 stars from me.
