Ottava Via has an awesome atmosphere that has a relaxing feel while dining. While their menu is limited, their food is very good. The cheese platters are a fun experience (if you've never had one). I would definitely recommend getting one. All in all, a wonderful place to eat and I can't wait to go back.

Love the brick oven pizza here and when it's warmer out, I think it's the best patio in all of Detroit. They have a bocce ball court in the back with another brick fireplace. It has a really cool ambiance. Their Caesar salad is also amazing, with a fried soft boiled egg on top. Drinks are good, but a bit pricey. Again, you're paying for the ambiance of the place, but the food is quality and worth the price.

We (party of five) went there for Easter Brunch. My husband and I ordered the lamb chops at $32.00 per plate. When our orders arrived the chops were too rare for our liking. We told the waitress we wanted them to be well done. She stated she would take them back but the cook would not cook them to 'well done' . We were both flabbergasted that we could not get the chops cooked to OUR liking. She brought the chops back but they were still a little too 'Red' for us. The manager came to our table stating that he had the chops cooked as much as they could. Trying not to cause an issue; we told him that we had never been to a restaurant that refused to cook a piece of meat to the level of 'doneness' that we desired. He said, "Copy that". We ended up taking the chops home (to finishing cooking them). We did pay for the meals and left the waitress a 20% tip. But we will NEVER go to or recommend this place.

Friendly staff. Trendy, good food, reasonsble prices. Great bicycle place to go. Open kitchen. Great smells. Proximal to wonderful other food/drink old school establishments. Bar and table service. Bistro environment and sound. Corktown is surely eclectic in food drink experiment. Go there. Nearby Trumbull Porter hotel with fire place outside and live outside music with bar and restaurant also. Wonderful proximal "package" weekend for reasonable prices. The hotel and other proximal places has very reasonable bicycle rentals.....a must to enjoy this area.

Amazing food! This place was unique and special amongst other restaurants nearby. The truffle butter pasta was out of this world yummy and our service was spot on!
