This place is awesome! It is a quaint, out of the ordinary Italian restaurant. We were there for lunch and after being greeted by the hostess we were assigned Colleen as our waitress. Colleen was amazing and so helpful. The menus are state of the art Tablets that display pictures and descriptions of the food. Our lunch was wonderful and we shared a meal which came to us divided and plated with an attractive presentation. I don't live in Grand Rapids but sure wish this place was closer so I could frequent it more often.

Food was fine, service was not. I brought my parents here for Mother’s Day because my mom mentioned she hadn’t been to an Italian place recently and they were advertising a brunch buffet. We made reservations earlier in the week, specifically for the buffet. When we arrived, the woman at the podium would not make eye contact with me. I mentioned that we had a reservation, but we still had to wait about 10 minutes (which was reasonable given the holiday-driven busyness). While waiting, I noticed other families leaving each had been given a small potted flower. Two parties of 4 were sat before us. We were eventually sat at a booth. I don’t remember our server’s name, but I’m honestly not sure if she ever mentioned it. She also never mentioned Mother’s Day and didn’t wish my mom a happy one at any point during or after our meal. Same goes for the woman at the podium when I asked about the flowers on our way out. Maybe they assumed she didn’t speak English? I’d hate to assume the poor service was a racial issue. Regardless, it wasn’t my day to ruin. My mom had a filling meal and got to try a new place. I just wish she could have had the same experience the other moms got.

Very good service, amazing food with a quaint, intriguing appearance and unique great taste. I was very impressed with the service quality, cleanliness, and decor of the restaurant. Our waiter was quick to tell us about the daily specials, and offered wonderful dessert options. Food was served quick for being such a high-class restaurant, and tasted amazing. The dessert was fantastic, light and not too sweet, especially nice after their large menu variety fills you up. Another big plus was the price. Very affordable, fancy high-class meals for the family with a great kids menu. Overall, I would without hesitation or even blinking recommend this to anyone in the area or a traveler from elsewhere, like myself.

Pietro's has been around in West Michigan for a while. I don't go often but it is always good when I go. I went for my birthday lunch and was pleasantly surprised by some changes that they have made. They have a tablet still menu that is interactive. It recommends food and beverage pairings and let's you view a picture of what the item looks like before you order. The Fettuccini Michael was delicious.

Wish I could give 3 1/2 stars. Nice Italian ambiance — that is, until they brought the menus in...electronic. Yeesh. We dined here many years ago, and it seems like nowadays they aren’t getting as much business...it felt like the electronic menus were not at all true to the feel of an Authentic Italian restaurant. Our waiter was not initially helpful with my (frustrating) dietary restrictions, yet after I pressed him a bit, he came back with an option he didn’t previously know about. So it was fine, but still felt awkward, instead of just enjoying a nice night out with the family. When I did get the food, however, it was delicious & prepared well. Good portions & the kids were happy with their meals.
