Hand's down best Indian cuisine restaurant around! Love this place! The staff are just as great as the food too.

Although our food was OK, we were talked to like we didn't know what we wanted. The service was terrible. The waiters kept congregating by the door and chatting. I feel like it had to do with the fact that we're women. If you want speedy attentive service, bring or be a male.

Very authentic North Indian cuisine. Excellent service. Very patient and understanding servers, though the English can be heavy and difficult to understand for some words. Clean dining in experience however the setting it rather basic. Certain days or time of day there is buffet, so if you want take out you need to self serve from the buffet bar. But when the buffet is closed you can order off the menu. I usually order extra white rice because it’s never enough for us. Samosas are also very delicious at this location. Highly recommend this restaurant, especially when I know people of Indian background travel from Troy and Rochester to dine at this location where there are a number of Indian restaurants along the long route. Definitely a gem and very fortunate to live in proximity to Aahar. Check the day when they are closed so you don’t crave Indian cuisine on that day.

BEST Indian buffet in metro Detroit! The best part is the fresh dosa they bring to your table!!!! The service is great. The buffet is stocked and fresh. I crave their butter chicken and paneer marsala. My husband and I make a lunch date at least once a month to come here.
