Pizza was not as good as I thought it would be. Ordered large with mushrooms, ham, Extra Pepperoni ! On large pizza not even asking for Extra there should be at least 40 to 45 prince's of pepperoni. I got 52 prince's and then the ham was ok but should had been placed more over the pizza. Mushrooms were a hit and miss. More in one place and a other but not enuff for what I paid for the pizza. Also ordered bread stick and they were not cooked all the way; but if they were they would of been great,

I'm only giving this a one because I have to give it a star to post a review. In one and a half hours we only received one part of our order and our appetizers. Those only arrived in the last 20 minutes. The salad and lent bar was never fully restocked sitting woefully neglected as well. When the manager was approached the first time about this we were told that this was because a party was booked during the time we were dining. If you have an extra angagement then you bring in extra staff to handle the work load. Allowing them a chance to rectify it we waited, however, in the last 20 - 30 minutes of our hour and a half wait, a table of 5 came in, ordered, and received not only their appetizers but meals too. At that point fed up with the entire experience our party decided to leave at 8:30 pm with 2 little children who had yet to eat dinner, where upon we left to go eat McDonald's instead.

My wife and i had'nt been in John's Pizzeria in 25 yrs. On Tuesday, we decided to give em a try for lunch. We were very please to see the old pizzeria back to snuff. The family has carried on the traditional friendly service, and the Italian fare is as good as it was in 1964 maybe better. We were very pleased and glad to say John's is back on my list of places to go for Italian. Manga manga. ENJOY! ! !

We enjoy the specials. There's something different every night. Great bread sticks and good pasta. You can be seated right away. Service is sometimes slow. Bartender is friendly, and you can play a little Keno while you watch the game of the week.
