A must-stop for Italian cuisine...I've been coming here for years (around 20yrs) and from getting their 16" grinders, to dining in and ordering the gnocchi with cheese baked on top you can't go wrong!! I happily put Baldo's ahead of their competition with their exceptional quality in food and service! Their prices might only be a little less than others, but I'd rather my money go to a local business than a chain restaurant. I highly recommend Baldo's!! While I'm here, they also host parties (with reserve seating) and I THINK they will cater. ...now I'm craving a steak n cheese grinder!!!

Very good food, and even better staff. Went here for a baby shower and they were on top of it. Pitchers we're always full and no request was taken care of without a smile. Excellent experience

Was there for my birthday Gabe was our waiter and was fantastic and so was my steak dinner! My husband and son both left full and happy! Gabe was on top of everything including our drinks. Could not have had a better birthday!

I went to Baldo's only twice, and it is the best Italian restaurant I've ever had! My first visit was jam packed at 6, but my second visit at 3:30 wasn't so bad attendance-wise. The waitresses on each visit provided excellent service to my family and I. The lasagna was mouth-watering, the veal Parmesan was delicious (basically anything with red sauce I recommend), just overall great experience. My only complaints are the size of the restaurant (which is quite small) and the pizza was okay, but not the best. If you go around the Downriver area for authentic Italian cuisine, Baldo's in Brownstown is the place for you.

Good food for the price. We were seated quickly and served our food with a smile. The waitress we had was very attentive and kept our drinks full and ensured that we were happy. Overall it was a good experience, but it didn't have that 'Wow' factor, like I felt I absolutely had to go back. I wouldn't mind dining there again, but I wouldn't go completely out of my way to do so, either. It's a good place to try at least once.
