This offers a truly unique experience in Kalamazoo. It is authentic German food and it creates a flavor that you can only find in this restaurant. Once you have it, you will find yourself craving the flavors over and over again. The wait staff is pleasant and courteous, but I think they lose a star for not being very fast. I wouldn't go here for a quote quick bite.

I have to say, one of the best experiences at a restaurant. When we first walked in it was about 1/2 second before Chris, a very friendly waiter, had us seated and drinks on the way. We were unable to decide which item to order, so we got the Victors Platter. Boy were we happy with this. We were able to try a lot of different items and all were excellent. The brats, pancakes, meatballs, all of it! We will be going back to try more dishes which we could not try that night.

Simple interior. Friendly staff. Most importantly the food was amazing! My husband LOVES German food. He lived there for several years. It is a small restaurant so they may run out of things. But they do have special things cooking in the kitchens. We felt it was priced perfectly! My husband and I can't wait to go back!

Love the food and service here! Like Grandma used to make, all of the food I've tried is delicious. The staff remember you and welcome you back. Love when they have live music. It's a place where you can be comfortable, you are welcomed, and you leave feeling loved.

Step back a century for what German food was like. Nondescript outside, nice inside, and the food was okay, nice, and tasty. Come early, the specials can run out. Great spot for the open-minded crowd. I should not judge the place by one late lunch.
